Keep Growing

Holy Family School offers a vibrant array of academic and arts clubs to nurture diverse interests among its students.

For those inclined towards scientific pursuits, the Science Olympiad provides an exciting platform to explore and compete in various science disciplines.

The Math Team engages young minds in challenging mathematical problems, fostering a love for numbers and problem-solving.

Aspiring actors and theater enthusiasts find a creative outlet in the drama club, where they can hone their acting skills and participate in captivating productions.

The robotics club introduces students to the fascinating world of technology, encouraging them to design and build innovative robotic creations.

These clubs and other activities not only enhance academic skills but also foster teamwork, creativity, and a lifelong passion for learning at Holy Family School.

Each student that chooses to play a sport at Holy Family or JP2 will be required to have an updated physical, within one year, in order to participate in their perspective sport. Please look under the "Parents" tab then under "Documents" for the physical form.

Soccer

Co-ed soccer is offered to all Holy Family students grades Pre-K through 8th grade. Early years are developmental focusing on basic instruction, sportsmanship, and teamwork. In grades 5-8 soccer becomes more competitive and players are introduced to more advanced features of the sport. Holy Family Regional School is a member of the Huntsville Independent School League. Each student that chooses to play a sport at Holy Family or JP2 will be required to have an updated physical, within one year, in order to participate in their perspective sport. Volleyball

Girl’s volleyball is offered in grades 5-8. Holy Family Regional School is a member of the Huntsville Independent School League. Each student that chooses to play a sport at Holy Family or JP2 will be required to have an updated physical, within one year, in order to participate in their perspective sport. Math Team

The Junior Knights and Junior Daughters membership is made up of Roman Catholic youth, ages 7-18 (grades 2-8). Our mission is to promote and enhance the spiritual and social wellbeing of all juniors.

The 7th and 8th-grade yearbook staff at Holy Family School comprises a dedicated group of students committed to preserving the cherished memories of their peers' academic journey. With creativity and attention to detail, they meticulously capture the essence of school life, from spirited sports events to intimate classroom moments. Their collaborative efforts result in a timeless keepsake that celebrates the diversity, achievements, and enduring friendships cultivated within the hallowed halls of Holy Family School.

Movement Education 

Physical Education at Holy Family School encourages lasting physical well-being in every student. This is achieved by exposing them to diverse sports and skills, elucidating the impact of fitness on their individual health. Students acquire the ability to execute tasks both independently and as part of a team, emphasizing safety and form. Our teachings are centered on sportsmanship, adherence to rules, and aiding others, all grounded in our Christian faith.

Basketball

Students in grades 3-8 may participate in our basketball program. Fundamental skills are taught in the early grades, while the sport becomes more competitive in grades 5-8. Basketball Trophies

Track

In the Spring, Holy Family supports a track team consisting of grades 4-8. Holy Family participates in approximately 5 meets annually and travels to Birmingham to compete in the Toy Bowl. Each student that chooses to play a sport at Holy Family or JP2 will be required to have an updated physical, within one year, in order to participate in their perspective sport. Robotics

Cheer on your Holf Family Athletes and perform at requested events. If you've got spirit sign up for cheerleading!! Mrs. Leary and Mrs. Libera are the sponsors and it is open to 3rd-8th grade students.

Under the esteemed direction of Christine Kirkland, the choir and music program at Holy Family School thrives as a vibrant hub of artistic expression and growth. With a curriculum rooted in music theory and the art of reading choir music, students embark on a journey of musical discovery that transcends mere notes on a page. Mrs. Kirkland's tutelage extends beyond traditional boundaries, offering performance opportunities that encompass dance and acting, enriching the students' experience with a holistic approach to the performing arts. Through dedication, passion, and Mrs. Kirkland's expert guidance, the choir and music program at Holy Family School not only cultivates musical talent but also fosters confidence, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for the transformative power of music.
